Hand Piecing wth Candy Hargrove Using Cindy Blackberg's Stamps - Class is Full!

Then you will love hand piecing using Cindy Blackberg’s rubber stamps. The stamps make a cutting line and a sewing line ensuring pin-point accuracy. Just stamp, cut and start sewing – you’ll love it.

The example at the top left uses the Thimble stamp – I call it the tiny tumbler. Cindy also has a larger tumbler stamp. Bottom left is the 1” Hexie stamp and the block on the lower right uses the Pointed Tile stamp and a triangle stamp from one of her block sets. You can also make the Lucy Boston block from the Pointed Tile stamp.

I’ll also show you Cindy’s technique for fussy cutting your pieces. She has shared this method on her blog.

You can bring your scraps, or choose from one of the charm packs available at the shop.

Please bring to class:

*Scraps of fabric of all color values – scraps, charm packs, left over strips at least 2-1/2” wide
*Neutral thread
*Your favorite needles for hand piecing – I like sharps
*Your thimble if you use one
*Fabric scissors
*Fine pins
*Sandpaper board if you have one

We will use my Cindy Blackberg stamps in class. Mary will have some for sale and can get others for you.

Class will be held at The Rabbit's Lair upstairs.
